lemon-chickenIf you’re looking for a great baked chicken breast recipe or the answer to how long to bake chicken breasts, I’ll give you the greatest 2 for 1 answer I’ve ever found.  The best part is – it takes very little work!

Now, I’m a firm believer in home cooking with fresh ingredients and I generally never go for anything pre-packaged at all, but if you want the best chicken breast recipe you can prepare in minutes and enjoy 45 minutes later without hardly lifting a finger, here’s a great product:

Campbell’s Supper Bakes Lemon Chicken With Herb Rice!

I am in no way, shape, or form benefiting or working on behalf of Campbell’s, but I have not come across any chicken breast recipe which is so delicious, cheap, and easy to prepare than this one.

It’s the kind of meal that can feed a family of four easily and plentifully, and works wonders with adults and kids alike.  I’ve tried a few of the other Campbell’s “Supper Bakes” and they don’t do anything for me, but this one rocks!

The way it works is; you place 3 or 4 chicken breasts on top of the rice water and mix, then you top it off with the sauce and bread crumbs before placing in the preheated oven.

The box claims it bakes in 30 minutes but I’ve found 40-45 minutes to be perfect for 3/4 inch chicken breast pieces.  You’ll know when it’s done when the rice on the edges becomes slightly browned and kind of crispy!

So, next time you’re tired from work, in a hurry, or you just plain don’t feel much like cooking, throw one of these babies in the oven and you will be set.  This one is a tried and true recipe endorsed by Moms everywhere!
